Experienced in building and operating systems across the pharmaceutical sector - sterile manufacturing, medium-risk licenced and registered medicines, and schedule 8 and 9 herbal medicines in the Special Access and Authorised Prescriber schemes. Having worked with poisons schedules from 3 to 10 in research, analytical laboratories, process engineering, to operations and general management Russell has board base of knowledge and expertise to build on.

Beginning with doctoral research into novel analytical systems, Russell’s experience covered shop-floor operations, supervision, and executive management in TGA and ODC regulated facilities. On top of the personal and operational, Russell has time hands-on with process engineering on one of Australia’s oldest family-owned medical manufacturers, to building and starting the country’s largest operating medicinal cannabis greenhouse. To go with the technical and personal, research and development - whether recovery of valuable product from waste streams or pioneering novel cradle-to-cradle waste management techniques - is at the core of any approach.
